In the traditions of Tolkien and Robert Jordan, this story is full of memorable characters, expertly woven plot threads, and some of the best battle scenes I (M. B. Heywood) have read in a long while.

Unleashed is dark and intense, probably best suited for older teen and adult readers. But it's "clean" other than the sometimes brutal, never gratuitous violence.
